Currently, SYMED with its partner Konica Minolta have 2 Models of processors available to meet customer requirements. They combine state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities with a strong commitment to research, development and quality control in every product. Introduction of the Super Rapid processing technology changed the industry standard from 90 seconds to 45 seconds. The current SRX processor line remains an example of this ongoing commitment to workflow efficiency and imaging excellence.

The Konica Minolta SRX-201A is a compact, three speed, mid-volume, super rapid film processor. It is recommended for busy clinics, orthopedic centers and active dedicated mammography.

The Konica Minolta SRX-101A is a three-speed tabletop processor, ideal for veterinary, chiropractic and mobile applications.

All Konica Minolta processors are FDA, CE, and IEC Certified

Medical Laser and Conventional (Green and Blue) Sensitive X-ray Films

Symed with its Partners Konica Minolta offer a full range of analog and laser films to suit your requirements. The film ranges from our very popular MGSR film to the high quality mammography range created for maximum image quality .

Green Sensitive systems

MG-SR (Green) - Type MG-SR is an orthochromatic film with medium contrast, suitable for general radiography, covering a complete range of diagnostic exams where maximum flexibility is desirable.

MGX-SR - Type MGX-SR is a very high contrast orthochromatic film, suitable for extremities and special procedures, as well as other exams where maximum contrast is desirable

MGT-SR - Type MGT-SR is an orthochromatic chest film designed for enhanced diagnostic information at low densities.

MGL-SR - Type MGL-SR is a high-resolution film suitable for abdominal radiography and other general radiographic procedures where wide latitude is desirable

MGV-SR - Type MGV-SR is a high-speed medium contrast film that provides high quality images for all general radiography applications. The speed of Type MGV-SR is very useful in portable, trauma, pediatric applications and special procedures

Blue Sensitive films

Type HB is a half speed blue sensitive film suitable for general radiography. This universal product will provide smooth, low-noise images when using conventional and blue-emitting rare earth screens. Konica Minolta Type HB has been designed to provide excellent visualization of information throughout the entire useful density range. It is ideally suited to general imaging needs.

AX Provides clear, highly transparent pictures that have a sharp definition with a newly developed emulsion, minimizing the scattering of transmitted light.

Mammography films

New CM-H film is designed to provide excellent imaging quality while demonstrating processing-friendly quality control characteristics. The peak contrast and latitude of New CM-H enables high quality results and fulfills MQSA film-screen requirements in any orthochromatic mammography screen. The CM Mammography Cassette, MD-100 and MM-150 mammography intensifying screens further enhance and complete the system.

DRY LASER FILMS SDP - SD-P, SD-PC and SDQ Silver Dry Process laser films are designed specifically for use with the Laser output of Konica Minolta Dry Laser Imagers. Featuring high maximum density and optimized contrast characteristics, these films produce exceptionally sharp laser images. Available in both tinted (SD-P) and clear case (SD-PC) they are provided in convenient daylight packaging for ease of loading.

LP- 670 - Type LP-670 is designed for use with helium neon and visible diode laser imagers. Featuring high maximum density and optimized contrast characteristic, Type LP-670 produces exceptionally sharp laser images. When using Konica Minolta's Super Rapid System, Type LP-670 film can be processed at 45 seconds.

LP- 820 - Type LP-820 laser film produces images that consistently provide optimum diagnostic clarity. The film's high maximum density and contrast make Type LP-820 excellent for IR Semiconductor laser imaging. When using Konica Minolta's Super Rapid System, Type LP-820 film can be processed at 45 seconds.

LP- 780 - Type LP-780 is a new Medium speed film for use with other manufacturer's lasers that utilize infrared solid-state lasers of 780 nm wavelength.

Symed with its partners provides KONICA X-Ray Fixer and Developer in 2x20 litres boxes. It produces brilliant radiographs of high diagnostic quality with excellent contrast.

Chemicals

Symed and Konica Minolta bring you a full range of chemicals for use in the small clinic to the large volume high throughput accident and emergency department. KM chemicals give optimum results when combined with Konica Minolta film giving the end user high quality outputs.

SYMED along with its partners can provide complete radiology solutions for the above-mentioned products with after sales clinical and technical support on site to the Radiology staff.
